Scrolling through TikTok rarely results in the feeling of being run over by a tractor trailer at full speed but this video by lesleypsyd hit home for me, as I’m sure it did for many. She talks about how parents of queer (specifically trans and nonbinary) kids feel they have a “right” to mourn the loss of the kid they knew. She says in no uncertain terms that this is not the case.
